Hubpages has sought a way to recover from the ranking loss followed by Google’s Panda update. They have introduced subdomaining the individual author’s content. Hubpages is a content farm containing a vast number of articles from numerous authors. They do not want the whole site to be affected because of the unfair practices of some authors. Google will judge each author individually through their subdomained content.

They carried out an experiment and saw a significant recovery in ranking of Hubpages after implementing it for two weeks. They simply moved the accounts to subdomains, so different authors would have their content in Hubpages/subdomain format. After this step some accounts recovered whereas some did not show any sign of recovery. If it succeeds, it is sure to be followed by the rest of the online community affected by Panda update.
