Instant Results Made Possible With Yahoo’s “Yahoo Direct”

Google and Yahoo remain in competition always. This time again, Yahoo has put forth a significant effort to compete with Google’s “Google Instant” by launching its new search product “Search Direct”. Although giving answer to Google Instant, Search Direct works a bit different manner. “With today’s launch, direct answers – not the search results page – is the primary focus,” says Yahoo Search and Marketplaces and Senior Vice President Shashi Seth. “We are redefining the search process and prominently displaying direct answers where search decisions are being made.”


Search Direct seems to be the efficient search-related product launch from the side of Yahoo and making people visible the efforts that have been made by Yahoo about search post Bing Search alliance. However, Search Direct in Beta is rolling out in U.S today but it will become available very soon across other Yahoo products.
