Bing Has Launched New Social Search Features, Utilizing Twitter and Facebook in New Manner

Bing has commenced adding tweets into Bing News, “Awhile back we introduced Bing social which lets you plunge into the real-time tweet stream to uncover the latest updates on the Web,” Bing says. “This week we took it a step further by integrating some of this real time social data into Bing news.”

It is thought that the live stream of social media content will automatically be added to Bing’s News result; means people thoughts will come into sight as soon as they have been posted. However, this new development of Bing might be useful during future events updating, as boxes will be devoted to all particular events. For instance, Search Engine Land suggested: “Search for Japan on Bing News and you will see a box on the right that says ‘Public updates for Japan’.”

When the web surfers will search Bing News for new story, Tweets will be shown up in a scrolling column on the right hand side of the page of Bing under the heading “public updates.”

The main idea behind introducing this feature is to provide readers or web surfers another source of information and updates. Thus it can be said that Bing will become now a valuable asset for every news delivery business or information seekers.

However, Bing has been searching more ways to mingle with Facebook, there is still lot of potential for Facebook data to make search results more significant, but these kinds of developments will surely help to promote Bing itself.”
