Appearance and order of Newsfeed changed by Facebook

Facebook is continuously innovating, making big announcements almost every week. With a Google+ threat looming large, Facebook is in no mood to play a second fiddle to Google + in social media. After adding the subscribe button, new friend list options and enhanced sharing controls; they are now ready to make changes in how newsfeed works along with the ticker feature. Newsfeed will now appear according to the way you behave on Facebook; that means according to your past behavior in terms of your likes, dislikes and engagement in the activities, posts and specific friends you interact with frequently.

Previously news feed was not arranged systematically in terms of relevance and matters of interest; it was rather depicted chronologically making it difficult to scroll and refresh to identify which posts are relevant to you and which are not. Now it will appear in the form of a personalized newspaper for you, so that you may quickly look for the content which interests you the most, ranking it accordingly. So, if you have away from FB for quite some time, the newsfeed would feature the status updates and photos making round. The posts that interest you the most will be accompanied by a blue corner, which is the latest addition to a host of options flashed by Facebook recently.
