Steve Jobs, chairman of the board of Apple, ex-CEO, a visionary, inventor of iPhone and iPad, and industry icon for decades, has died.
He was a brilliant, passionate and energetic person and has led numerous innovations that have changed the way we think, live and work. Not only the IT industry, but the common man has been affected through his inventions. Messages of condolence are pouring in for his wife Laurene and his family from all over the world.
Apple.com has changed its home page and a picture of the late Steve Jobs appears with a text, “1955-2011.” Apple’s CEO Tim Cook has issued a statement to the company employee, which is not only a tribute but honors this great man in a unique way. Tim says that Steve leaves behind a company that only he could have built.
In the month of August, when Steve resigned from the post of CEO of Apple, he mentioned “I believe Apple’s brightest and most innovative days are ahead of it.”He was quite popular offshores too; worldwide people are expressing their condolences on the death of a hero, who gave us iPhone, iPad and many other things.
