Now it is Bing’s Turn to Implement a Google’s Panda like Update

After Google’s panda update regarding the content quality, the nearest rival Bing has also jumped into the fray. As Bing powers Yahoo search, it is a powerful player too. Bing has also issued a list of things to avoid while producing content. Content producers should be on high alert now. Search Engines are now critical of substandard content and all the poor content is exposed to the threat of being weeded out soon.

Bing is strictly against duplicate content. It asks you to produce your own content. Thin content, which is still a major part of the SEO content on the web, is also not supported by Bing. They expect you to write on a subject as if you are an authority on the subject. Text and images should be in good proportion. Text inside an image is discouraged as it is not readable by the crawlers. You can also encourage the visitors of your site to share your content on the Social Media.
Translation tools such as Google translate should be avoided to produce content into different languages as the content produced by this method is barely natural and precise. Always proof read what you write; there are certain grammatical, spelling and construction errors that can be avoided this way. Long videos and long pages of text should be avoided. You can introduce pagination in long pieces of text without disturbing your SEO efforts. Produce content to add value to something. Do not produce something for its own sake. Last but not the least, Bing emphasizes on good user experience.
