Is Google+ Poised For 100,000,000 Mark in Near Future?

Google+ already ahead of 1 million mark, what is next?

Bill Gross, CEO Idealab is very positive about the prospects of Google+ as the next biggest social network. According to him Google+ “will go from 0 to 100,000,000 faster than any other service in history.”

However he has his own valid points for it. First of all he lauds the great services, timeliness of the services, passionate response from people and the fact that it has already achieved 1 million mark in terms of people pegged. Other logical reasons he cites for Google+ to emerge as the biggest social network is that it has been launched and supported by Google which is so far the biggest entity in the cyber world. The product is well planned and well executed and lastly people are already smitten by it.

Going by the initial responses, Gross acknowledges that he feels Google will surpass 100 million mark, however he is not sure how much time will it take. He also cites some signs that he observed last week to base his opinion upon. Not only is the presence of Google+ impressive, Gross is constantly getting mails from people adding him. He also describes the reasons that keep him coming back to it. One of it is its mobile applet which comes with instant upload and android platform. This service is also going to help Google’s Picasa web albums. Although Facebook is still huge and will remain huge, but the fact which works in favor of Google is that it is already being used by masses for numerous other things and they’re going to see those notifications. The engagement factor is already high on Google network.
