Authorship Markup and their Google Profile to Decide Ranking on Google

Google is experimenting with an idea of content profiling. So now your ranking would depend on mostly “who you are” factor. They are even planning to put a picture of yours in front of your results, content, articles and posts. Usage of HTML5, the latest version of the favorite website scripting language, will help search engines a lot in knowing about the content’s origin and decide what is trustworthy and what is not trustworthy.

Trustworthy content would obviously have a higher probability of ranking on the top. Another most important thing is you would have to have a Google profile for it; most probably they would use your Google+ profile. But it does not mean things would no more be search related. They would remain search related. That is the most commanding job Google has done. Author biographies would be made live, and websites have to link the author profile with every post.

If there are multiple authors, separate profiles would be posted for each one of them. So, gone are the day when people may have put any nonsense content and attribute it to someone else. So authorship markup would now decide your website ranking in Google.
