According to the recent news from Apple, fall 2011 will see nothing except the launch of the iPhone 5. iPad 3 has been slated to be launched somewhere around the first half of 2012. Rumors did a round in July this year that iPad 3 will be released by the end of the year. According to the same sources iPad 3 was expected to feature a high resolution screen, a retina display and a 9.7 inch display.

According to another report, trial production of iPad3 may begin this year, but it will not be released this year. Though, as usual the market is anticipating the launch of iPad 3, but there is no immediate reason to launch it as the previous model has no flaws and is already popular with the masses. iPad 2 is still the king of the tablet market and it hasn’t completed even a year of its existence.
