YouTube On Animal Cruelty Video Ban

Recently a certain video posted by ‘Mercy for Animals’ group was banned by Vimeo, a rival video portal of YouTube. Although the video was basically to protest cruel practices against cattle, it contained some disturbing footage involving violence against animals. However, a spokesperson for Mercy for Animals said that they would communicate with Vimeo to repost the video, as they did with YouTube.

This video depicted some disturbing coverage of calves being mistreated by workers of the Texas-based E6 Cattle Company. This video which was earlier removed by YouTube is again up on it with just a warning about disturbing content. It is hosted by a YouTube channel owned by ‘Mercy for Animals’ group.
