Google+ has received positive feedback in barely six week of its existence. It has done a commendable job of acquiring around 25 million users in this brief period. The sheer pace at which Google+’s invitation only interface is growing is a proof that it will create ripples in the world of social media in near future. In a recent survey it has been indicated that people prefer Google+ for its privacy options and more quality traffic then either Facebook or Twitter. However industry experts feel that Facebook will not be harmed by Google+, as both offer different value propositions. Facebook’s unique platform and ability to express the individuals will ensure its survival for a long time.
