In a bid to launch newest mobile applets, Social Media giant Facebook has introduced a new mobile app called Messenger. It would be a standalone app. apart from Facebook’s regular mobile app. In the smart phones category, the app would be accessible on iPhone and Android phones.

It is seemingly designed with the help of group messaging app Beluga, which was acquired by Facebook recently. According to the officials at Facebook, Messenger is a separate app, which enables you to get or send messages at a faster speed using just one click of the mouse. It is supported by notifications and texts so that the user can receive and view it instantly. Apart from Facebook friends this app can also be used to reach your phone contacts. Group chat feature is also included in the app.
