A new Gmail redesign is expected to be rolled out soon. Earlier it was Google Reader redesign that was announced by Google. This time it is conversation view, which has been focused. It will now help you read through your email threads in a more streamlined way, enabling you to see the profile pictures of your email contacts. So, it would be easier now to have a holistic view of all the conversation happening in your Gmail account. It would be smoother and intuitive.

It will also help adjust the spacing between elements when you are accessing Gmail from tablets, smartphones, PCs and laptops. Sometimes people have a problem reading their emails from the tiny screens of their different cellular devices. Now, you will be able to change the density of the email elements manually in the “Settings” menu. The left panel will be more customized with new search features. Over the next few days you will get “switch to the new look link” at the bottom of your Gmail frame.
