Amazon announces its tablet version Kindle Fire

And finally Amazon has unveiled a tablet device; it was anticipated since a long time. Earlier it had an eBook reader called Kindle, now it had named its tablet device the Kindle Fire. It will be priced at amazingly low rate of just $199. Having the dimensions of 7″ multi-touch LCD display, it contains no camera. With Wi-fi facility, it is a robust tablet, powered by a dual core processor.
It cannot compete with top tablet brands such as iPad, in terms of features but surely it has the power to shake the market by the Amazon brand and incredibly low prices. It runs on Android platform, but that would be it own version. images1
It is backed up by applications from Amazon’s Android store and other content resources of Amazon such as MP3 and videos. It is also offering a 30 day free trial of Amazon Prime.
It has a silk web browser which offers high speed web browsing because it uses the Amazon Web Services Cloud.
